    Included among our senior living options is temporary respite care. When a family member is unavailable, or perhaps professional support takes needed time away to prevent caregiver burnout, a place where your senior adult can stay and feel like they’re among family is a gift. The Arbors and The Ivy provides short-term accommodations in cases like these, as well as in times of recovery after hospitalization. During this time, we also allow our guests to make full use of our wonderful amenities.

    What Is Senior Respite Care?

    Respite care allows family and caregivers to break from their daily responsibilities, providing them with the security of knowing that their important person is taken care of while they’re away.

    During this time of respite, your loved one will experience everything that our full-time residents do, including, but not limited to:

    • Private, fully furnished apartments
    • Cable, phone, and Wi-Fi services
    • Month to month rental payments
    • Three meals a day in elegant, restaurant-style dining
    • A full calendar of fun activities and events, like movie and bowling nights
    • Weekly housekeeping (including linens)

    Allowing your senior adult loved one the opportunity to stay short-term at The Arbors and The Ivy can also be a great chance for them to see what living here would be like. If they’ve been hesitant about moving into a senior living environment, having a temporary stay can help them overcome any nervousness and experience the many benefits of living among peers in a fun, comfortable home-like environment.
